With the Metal Factory, The Netherlands will have a unique music school at Dynamo, Eindhoven.
Coming year, Rock City Institute will start as the first Dutch specialized Metal Music discipline.

The collaboration between Within Temptation and Q-Music gets a new episode: after the successful broadcast of several covers, which Within Temptation arranged and performed for the radio station by the end of 2012, the band will now release a selection of these covers on an album titled ‘The Q-Music Sessions’ on the 19th of April in the Netherlands and Belgium.
In the run up to the 15th anniversary of Within Temptation in the sold-out Sportpaleis in Antwerp, the band was asked by Q-Music to choose and perform an existing track in a ‘Within Temptation-fashion’ on a weekly basis. The band accepted this challenge enthusiastically that resulted in reworks of hits by David Guetta, Passenger, Lana Del Rey and Bruno Mars amongst others. The feedback on these covers by the fans and listeners of Q-Music was extremely positive, which made the band decide to release a selection of the covers on an album.

De samenwerking tussen Within Temptation en Q-music rondom het 15-jarig jubileum van de symfonische rockband krijgt een vervolg. De band brengt in samenwerking met het radio station in België en Nederland een coveralbum uit, dat bestaat uit een selectie van nummers die Within Temptation in het najaar van 2012 wekelijks voor de zender bewerkte en op het station ten gehore bracht. Het album heeft de titel “The Q-music Sessions” meegekregen en komt uit op 19 april 2013 in Nederland en België.
In aanloop naar het uitverkochte jubileumconcert in het Sportpaleis in Antwerpen, vroeg Q-music de band wekelijks een grote hit zodanig aan te passen dat er een nieuwe uitvoering zou ontstaan. De band ging hier enthousiast mee aan de slag en heeft onder meer grote hits van David Guetta, Passenger, Lana Del Rey en Bruno Mars op hun unieke eigen wijze bewerkt. Omdat de covers enorm goed werden ontvangen, heeft de band op aandringen van Q-music, luisteraars en fans van de band, besloten een selectie hiervan uit te brengen op een album.

Fashion designer Jan Boelo, who designed the band’s clothes for Elements and other shows, presented his 2013 autumn/winter line in Amsterdam on Monday the 18th. Sharon performed live during the entire fashion show, accompanied by the Dutch band MOKE.

Mode ontwerper Jan Boelo, Die onder andere de kleding voor het Within Temptation Elements concertheeft ontworpen, Heeft zijn 2013 herfts en winter collectie gepresenteerd in Amsterdam op maandag de 18e. Tijdens de gehele show heeft Sharon live opgetreden, vergezeld van da Nederlandse band.

As you might have noticed, there hasn’t been much activity on the fanclub website in recent times.
This is due to several causes:
-Limited time. All crew members are volunteers with full time jobs and because of that we have very limited time to spend on fanclub activities.
-Unfortunately, someone was involved in a car accident last year and is still recovering from it. They were a very important source of information for us. Because of this, our flow of information practically stopped.
This has also affected the continuity of the fanzine.
We do realize us that we have done you short this last year and we regret that.

Zoals jullie hebben gemerkt is er het afgelopen jaar weinig activiteit geweest vanuit de fanclub. Dit heeft een aantal oorzaken gehad:
-Weinig tijd, Het bestuur bestaat volledig uit vrijwilligers, we hebben allemaal een fulltime baan en daardoor zeer beperkte vrije tijd.
-Eén van onze belangrijkste bronnen van informatie heeft afgelopen jaar een auto ongeluk gehad en is nog steeds herstellende. Hierdoor is onze informatie stroom vrijwel stil gevallen.
Ook de continuïteit van het Fanzine is hierdoor in het gedrang geraakt.
We beseffen ons heel goed dat we jullie hierdoor te kort hebben gedaan en dat spijt ons.

The Silent Force Fanclub heeft haar activiteiten gestaakt. Inschrijven en verlengen van je lidmaatschap kan niet meer. Maak dus geen geld over!
Voorlopig kun je ook niets meer in de shop bestellen. Of we daar in de toekomst weer mee starten is nog niet zeker maar via deze site houden we je daarvan op de hoogte.
Wij bedanken jullie allemaal hartelijk voor de vele jaren trouw lidmaatschap, wij hebben erg veel plezier aan de Fanclub beleefd en we hopen jullie ook!
